If you would rather travel by bus, The Tur Bus company will take you to Santiago a La Serena for about 6.00 pesos. From La Serena to Chochiguaz you can take the bus to Montegrande and then towards Serene. You can also take a shuttle bus that has a capacity for up to 11 persons for about $ 60.000.
